Brand Story

Anneliese Meyer grew up in central Utah deeply connected to her family’s German heritage. Her grandparents, immigrants from Germany, intentionally preserved cultural traditions through a weekly brunch rooted in food and time together.

While studying at the University of Utah, Anneliese met Arthit, a Thai foreign exchange student. Their friendship quickly grew, and Arthit was soon welcomed into the family’s weekend brunch tradition. After graduating and marrying, the couple continued to celebrate both their shared and distinct cultural backgrounds through food.

After graduating and marrying, the couple continued to celebrate both their shared and distinct cultural backgrounds through food.

As they considered how to pass these traditions on to future generations, they recognized cuisine as a powerful and accessible expression of culture. Their exploration of German-Thai fusion dishes eventually grew into a passion that inspired the creation of a business.

THE BRAND

Fusion, at its core, is the act of connection. This concept led to a ribbon as the primary visual metaphor: a flexible yet stable form capable of adapting across applications. When abstracted, the ribbon’s edge becomes an arrow shape, which can be repeated and layered to visually suggest movement, unity, and coming together.
